Smith Street Stage is a theater company based in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens that serves Carroll Gardens and the surrounding neighborhoods. The Company is committed to providing its community with productions of classic stories that engage people of all ages and backgrounds. We endeavor to become an integral part of our community by creating thought provoking work, challenging our audiences as well as our artists, and providing affordable, entertaining shows. It is our ultimate goal to demonstrate just how effective theater can be by creating honest moments in a very personal, very direct and highly imaginative way.
